Kids for Kids Choir

We are now underway with our KIDS FOR KIDS choir. We have a fantastic group of 52 Year 5 and 6 pupils, who are rearing to sing in preparation for our show at the Vodafone Events Centre on November 14. Although this seems like a long time away, it takes us many months to rehearse, prepare and learn all the lyrics.

At this stage we are waiting on our songs and music from Kids for Kids. In the meantime, we are busy learning some new songs which will be used at upcoming school assemblies.

Thanks to the parents of choir members for their willingness to support their children with the commitment of being in the choir for nearly 3 terms.

Room 8's First Lesson in the Music Room

Our new Resonator Chimes are in full use. Room 8 loved playing them as part of our unit on "The Lion Sleeps Tonight". They are colour coded with our Boomwhackers and bells, so are a great asset to the music room instruments.
